I followed Team Die Strong for months when I took these photos. Team Die Strong focuses on Muay Thai, but the team will also fight MMA as well. Out of the four guys fighting from the team, only one lost. And if I’m being honest, I didn’t agree with the judges on that one because James’s opponent kept running away. (In my experience, you’re not supposed to run in a Muay Thai fight).

I think these might honestly be my best photos I’ve taken when it comes to fight photography in general. I got the beat of the fight and fighters so my timing was better. The most important part of these fights was the idea of ‘brotherhood’. I tried to capture that the most when taking these photos.
